Massive German Kriegsmarine scrapbook starting in the Weimar Republic -going to WWII and throughout war years with multiple unpublished pictures of Hitler, Goring, Hess and Himmler. Scrapbook appears to have belonged to a Reichsmarine officer during the Weimar Republic upon the Linienschiff "Schleswig-Holstein" and later upon the Kreuzer "Leipzig". Adolf Hitler, Hermann Goring, Rudolph Hess and Heinrich Himmler are photographed inspecting the Kreuzer "Leipzig" in 8 different photos. These photos show them arriving on board, walking around deck, Hitler watching Goring use a telescope, Hitler going below deck, and Hitler speaking with the captain of the vessel. In these photos, Hitler is surrounded by SS and SA men. Photos on board the Kreuzer "Leipzig" also include their pet lion "Simba", their travels around the world (Santiago, Alaska, etc), the crew on holiday in the Alps, docked in occupied Cherbourg-France, and many more. Many more photos included are of the scrapbook owner's family-such as their mother, father, little brother Werner, Aunt Martha, Onkel Wilhelm, cousin Anellie and and many more. He appears to have from Zehdenick in Brandenburg, but had lots of family in Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein. Near the end of the book many personal photos are present of WWI soldiers on campaign-likely from the father of the scrapbook owner.
