Two 18th century Channel Islands silver two-handled christening cups maker's marks only, one IH below a sunburst device, unknown, Guernsey, circa 1760 the other GH and device above for Guillaume Henry, Guernsey, circa 1736 Each of conventional form, the first with bead capped scroll handle, engraved initials to one side 'I B', the second with moulded scroll handles, engraved to one side 'a N G Don de Son parain N G 1736', height 6.5cm and 6.6cm, weight 3oz and 2.6oz.
