Description
A piece of Beverly Wilshire Hotel letterhead paper signed by Ringo Starr in black ballpoint pen, Klaus Voormann and Jesse Ed Davis in pencil, Bobby Keys and Jim Keltner (on the back) in black ink. Bobby has added the word "thanks" above his name, Keltner has added the inscription "Dearest Debbie Forgive this!" above his name.
Following John Lennon’s temporary split from Yoko Ono in September 1973, John relocated to Los Angeles renting a large beach house in Los Angeles, In the following months the above musicians also moved in with him and they worked on recording sessions for what would become John Lennon’s "Rock 'n' Roll" album and also Harry Nilsson’s "Pussycat" album. The period was dubbed ‘John Lennon’s Lost Weekend’.
