Description
Oris Robertson (American, 1937-2002). Mixed media on paper artwork from the "Guadalajara Roses" series, 1986. Pencil signed and dated along the lower center. Depicting a still life of seashells and trompe l'oeil cut-out paper birds. The center bird is an actual paper cut-out displayed hovering above the sheet.
Sight; height: 17 1/2 in x width: 13 1/2 in. Framed; height: 20 1/2 in x width: 16 1/2 in x depth: 1 1/4 in.

Condition
The colors are bold and bright. There are no major tears, losses, or restorations. There is an undulation throughout. The work is floated in frame. There are signs of moisture exposure along the lower left of the frame. It does not appear to affect the artwork, however, the work has not been examined out of frame. Framed under glass; wear and water exposure to the frame.
