Description
Felix Bracquemond (French, 1833-1914) after Jean-Francois Millet (French, 1814-1875). Etching on laid paper titled "The Hoer" (alternatively titled "Man with a Hoe" or "The Labourer") after the ca. 1860-1862 painting by Millet. The painting is in the collection of the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, California. Signed in plate along the lower right. The print is from Albert Wolff "Cent Chefs-d'Oeuvre: The Choice of French Private Galleries." Paris: Georges Petit and Ludovic Bashet, 1883. Distributed by Knoedler & Co., New York.

Condition
There are no tears or restorations. The sheet is toned. There are some light handling marks or creases throughout. Light wear to the edges. The number 42 is written in pencil along the upper right corner. The work is not framed.
