Asparagus tongs - Dublin, 1809 - length 9 1/4 inches (23.5 cm)

Strainer spoon - Dublin, 1795 - length 12 1/4 inches (31 cm)

Stuffing spoon - Thomas Maning, Dublin, 1835 - length 12 1/4 inches (31 cm)

Stuffing spoon - Philip Weekes, Dublin, 1833 - length 12 1/4 inches (31 cm)

Serving fork - John Pittar, Dublin, 1790 - length 12 1/4 inches (31 cm)

Serving fork - John Shields, Dublin, 1794 - length 12 1/4 inches (31 cm)

Serving fork - William Law, Dublin, 1812 - length 8 7/8 inches (22.5 cm)

Serving fork - possibly colonial - length 11 1/4 inches (28.5 cm)

Total approximately 26 ounces.



Asparagus tongs - rubbing to maker's mark; engraved script "ETE" with crest; the piece joining the blades slightly bent

Strainer spoon - maker's mark rubbed; engraved script "T" to handle

Maning stuffing spoon - engraved crest; clearly hallmarked and stamped "Stewart"

Weekes stuffing spoon - engraved script "RML"; clearly hallmarked

Forks all likely altered from spoons

Pittar fork - engraved crest; clearly hallmarked

Shields fork - engraved crest and arms (probably regimental); clearly hallmarked

Law fork - engraved crest

Colonial? fork - pseudo George III London marks, with date letter V and maker RC/JB
