A MID-18TH CENTURY DUTCH SILVER TEAPOT
by Casparus Jansonius, Haarlem, c.1750, of pyriform shape, chased with lambrequin, acanthus and shells, the hinged, domed lid surmounted by an urn finial, the lid similarly decorated, the curved panelled spout with opposite a scroll wooden handle pinned to sockets. 14.5cm high, 9 troy ounces gross
Marked on the underside. Engraved with a crest. There is surface wear and some old solder repairs.
