This rare piece was handmade around 1750 in Munich, Germany and would have held together the top of the robe or cape of a nobleman or clergyman. The piece features two finials with masterfully crafted Bacchus heads linked by a sturdy chain. Total weight is 24.6 grams. Stamped with the city of Munich silver mark (an angel with open arms).
