Description
A late 19th century automaton mantel clock, the dial with a brass cherub striking an anvil within a white enamel chapter ring, the movement in a later ebonised case, height 24cm together with an early 20th century mantel clock in cast metal cast, height 25cm, both with damages (2)Condition Report:
- Cherub clock strikes a bell when the hands are turned
- The dial has cracks and chips alongside a bruise between 3 and 4 o'clock
- The case has been poorly ebonised, and the back door is now fixed shut
- No key or pendulum
- Mantel clock strikes on a bell.
- Visible polish residue
