Description

A 19th century English mahogany and needlepoint fire screen on stand having carved barley twist spires on each side with carved beaded border around top with 'Judith and her servant in the desert' needlepoint panel behind glass with pleated fabric cover on reverse. Screen is mounted to fixed tripod stand.

Condition

Good condition. Some signs of wear to needlepoint, missing finials and break and loss to frame on the right side. Appears to be missing top crest or finial.
