Patrick Flanigan Indiana (1927-2004) Star of Bethlehem, 1971 mixed media on paper Signed and titled lower right. Obituary from the Indy Star: Muralist Patrick "Sun Eagle" Flanigan born September 8, 1927 to Walter Flanigan and Georgia Flanigan Marshall in Bartholomew County, Indiana died July 13, 2004 after a long illness. Patrick was adopted by the Black Feet Indian tribe, he has acted as a Goodwill Ambassador to many cities and countries, including Rome, the Vatican City and Jerusalem. Patrick lived most of his life in Indianapolis and graduated from John Herron Art School. He received awards, medals and letters for his outstanding art work and murals in churches and schools and paintings stateside and abroad. 16"H x 20 1/2"W (sight), 24 1/2"H x 28 1/2"W (frame)
