Reggie Birch, (VA) Merganser made in the manner of the Cobb Family
Chincoteague, Virginia, circa 2020, carved and painted wood, tack eyes, ink stamp R BIRCH on bottom, incised R BIRCH under tail.
Length 14.5 in.
Birch began making decoys in 1977 for his own personal use. He became a full time professional decoy maker in 1986 and focused on using only hand tools to craft decoys. He has won many awards for his craft.
