Period: Late 19th Century
Features: Raised on a shaped wooden frame and covered with glass. Brass driven movement strikes a bell. Paper dial with brass embellishments on the bezel. Brass pendulum with double barrel bob. Has a walnut base with standing figures on either side. The back has a label which reads "Davies The Crystal Palace Clocks Patented Jany 26 1875" and there is a store label also on the back which reads "P.W. Taylor, Diamonds, Watches & Jewelry 521 Fulton Street, Brooklyn Watches, Clocks and Jewelry Repaired and Warranted. If the clock runs too fast, lower the pendulum; if too slow, raise it."

Condition: Good. Discoloration and wear to the face of the clock. Some minor losses in paint on figures. This clock operated well upon inspection in the gallery. However, we cannot guarantee operation continues after our initial inspection.
