4th century BC. A blackware krater with square loop handles and pedestal foot; ovolo pattern to the rim; Side A - a nude male standing beside a bull, grasping a bull by the horns, and tying a cord around them; Side B - a standing female in a flowing robe advancing, a wreath held in the right hand towards a nude seated male with staff. 1.3 kg, 22 cm (8 1/2"). Ex Hiller collection, Essex, UK; acquired in the 1950s-1960s.
