Twenty-Five Letter Archive of the Naval Commander in the Pacific
ARTHUR RADFORD, Admiral, U.S. Navy.
Lot of 25 Typed Letters Signed, One Autograph Letter Signed and One Photograph, Very Fine to Extremely Fine. Eighteen of the letters are on Joint Chiefs of Staff stationery, two as Commander in Chief, Pacific and five on personal stationery. Most are signed "Randy" and all are written to Robert Gros. Routine content with several relating to his travels around the Pacific Rim after the war. Radsford was an Admiral during World War II, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under Eisenhower.
