Description
Keith Haring and Martin Burgoyne Original Color SX-70 Polaroid Photograph. One-of-a-kind Polaroid photo from the early 1980s. The one-of-a-kind Polaroid is the only photograph in existence, taken without a negative. The photograph has not been printed or published before and was taken in the early 1980s when Keith Haring and Martin were close friends living and working in New York. Image size measures 3" x 3" and the full Polaroid measures 4-1/4" x 3-1/2". Photo is held in place with clear photo corners and is not mounted. Matted in a modern 12" x 12" metal frame. In good condition. Photo could possibly have been taken by either Andy Warhol or artist friend Maripol. Maripol threw a 23rd birthday party for Martin on August 6, 1986 on the rooftop of her New York apartment. Haring designed the birthday invitation and this photo could have been taken at the party. From the estate of Martin Burgoyne.
