Provenance: Found in an untouched North Shore estate. Condition: In as found condition. Two faded out and not visible signatures, Thomas Heyward Jr, and Caesar Rodney. The Auctioneer and Seller will not accept a letter voicing an opinion from a person or corporation in the business of buying and selling historic documents and signatures for profit. If the decision of the qualified expert on this lot is that the signatures are not of the 18th/19th century, and with acceptable written evidence of such decision, together with the lot in the same condition as it was when released for authentication, are presented to the auctioneer within the required time, the Buyer's purchase price shall be refunded.
