CONTINENTAL FREE-BLOWN AND ENGRAVED BALUSTER POKAL AND COVER, colorless non-lead glass, conical bucket bowl with a cavalier on horseback with sword within a foliate and scroll frame, reverse with a depiction of a large cemetery with many gravestones, raised on a hollow collared double inverted baluster stem with engraving on the knops, domed foot with foliate and scroll top and polished pontil mark, slightly ill-fitting original cover with pinched rim, matching engravings, and hollow conical finial. 18th century. 16" HOA, 11 1/2" H rim, 4 3/8" D rim, 5 7/8" D foot.
