Description: Vintage Communist era collection of eight different watches each watch complete with it's own style wrist band. All but one appear to be battery driven.

History: The wristwatch only came into vogue after the first world war when pocket watches had lugs attached to them so that soldiers could easily access the time. The wearing of wrist watches also kept the watch from being easily broken while being carried in the pocket.
