Early & Museum Rare Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Fish Set in Original Fitted Box
Complete set for twelve includes forks, knives plus two serving pieces in the fitted leather covered box.
Brand marking inside the box (see image).
This set handed down through the family until this offering, is reputed, by oral tradition,
to have been made by Jensen himself. Dates to circa 1920 according to markings.
From the provenance of Countess vonPlaten , should be placed in Jensen Museum Collection.
12 fish knives- 8 and 2/8 inches in length
12 fish forks - 7 and 6/8 inches in length
fish serving fork - 10 and 1/2 inches in length
fish serving spatula - 11 inches in length
