Description
With a black satin lacquer finish to the case c.1969. 6'11". 40 x 58 inches. Marked #Y3867 4726 (stenciled).Evaluation:Manufacture date 1969The case is ebony satin and is in ok condition. The leg and lyre bolt plates are secure. This piano sits solid. This piano appears to have had a partial rebuild including; new strings, tuning pins, and hammers, keys recovered with synthetics and plastic sharps. The bridges are good and the pin-block appears fine through-out. The soundboard is original and does have visible cracks which do not appear to show separation from ribs. I didn’t hear any buzzes or thin spots although I did not tune it.The action has been partially rebuilt and could use some regulation service but is fine as is.Currently this piano sits ¼ tone flat.Fair market value - $10,000 - $12,000Noonan Piano Tuning & Technical3 Cass StreetExeter, NH 03833Phone: (603)557-5722 - noonanjohnd@comcast.netSteinway Model B (413718) 6’11”
