Description
1 & 2- Two Pierced Rim Porcelain Transfer Plates, one of boy feeding swans, the other girl feeding doves. Both 6.75"x6.75". 3- Early Victorian Staffordshire children's alphabet plate titled 'Playing at Lovers', measures 7"x7". 4- Staffordshire Plate 'The Queen' with registry mark for 1873. 7.50"x7.50", small hairline and chip to back only. 5-Antique 19th C English "The Village Wedding" Plate. The plate is unsigned, with no marks at all on the back. It is circa 1880 or earlier. It was made by F. & R. Pratt & Co., Fenton Potteries, Staffordshire, and uses their standard "123" pattern border. 7"x7", wear and crazing. Weight on all 2 pds 4 oz.
