A JOHN WIDDICOMB COMPANY INLAID CHERRY AND BURL WALNUT TRIPLE DISPLAY CABINET, GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN, LATE 20TH CENTURY, in the neoclassical taste, the breakfront crown trimmed with stepped egg and dart molding, above a wide parquetry string inlaid frieze, flanked by applied ormolu patera, above six wide beveled glazed, paneled doors, with applied lambs tongue carved liners, flanked by like glazed paneled sides, and ormolu mounted Egyptian Revival inspired lotus form capitals above engaged columnar stiles, raised on plinth bases. Height: 86 1/2" Width: 126 1/2" Depth: 19"
Condition
Expected mild surface wear. Some mild occasionall scartches, abrasive scuff losses mostly near the outermost carving. White colored patina on the metal mountings. Overall in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
