A 19th century Birge and Fuller wagon spring double steeple clock. 8-day Brass time and strike movement with painted metal dial. Mahogany "Double Steeple" case with conforming upper door with clear upper and eglomise lower glass flanked by four "Candlestick" turnings in a base with single door and eglomise panel, all on squat turned feet. Older refinishing with some wear, replaced metal dial, flaking to both panels, runs momentarily when cataloged. 25 3/4" high. ESTIMATE $1,000-1,500
