Description
The Al-Vista cameras were panorama cameras made by the Multiscope and Film Corporation in Burlington Wisconsin. These were panorama cameras of the classic design, with a swing lens in a soft leather bellows. Instead of a shutter the cameras have a spring that turns the lens 180 degrees. Turning speed is regulable on the Baby Vista., adjustable for 4 different light situation. The film plane is curved. The cameras use roll film. This camera did what no other camera did at the time, covering a scope of 180 degrees in a single exposure. Original box is apart at seams. c.1901-1910. (SG-59)
