Description
Rare presentation of Abraham and Mary Lincoln tintypes set in a CDV mount. The image of Mary, in mourning attire, was taken at the time of the death of their beloved son Willie in 1862. President Lincoln's image was taken by Anthony Berger at Mathew Brady's Washington, DC studio in early 1864. Likley made aas a mourning piece after the assassination of the President. One of only handful of examples extant. Images are bold.
