Description: This handcolored fine example of Blaeu’s map of Panama, Colombia, part of Ecuador, extending south to Esmereldas and Venezuela extending east nearly to Caracas. Includes 2 large compass roses and two large cartouches. Provides an excellent view of mid 17th Century Columbia, including the course of the Magdallena River and its major tributaries.
Size approximately : 20 x 15 inches
Framed size 22 3/4 x 27 in. opening 15 1/4 x 19 1/2 in.
