The large circular plaque with Renaissance Revival influence border centered by an allegory of Vanity admiring her likeness in a hand-held mirror while attended to by servants in a highly detailed interior, silver electroplate on copper, signed Elkington & Co lower right, and Morel-Ladeuil / invic Fecit / 1876 lower left for designer Leonard Morel-Ladeuil (1820-1888), there are British registry marks both front and back identifying the date of manufacture as April 30 1877, 5000a crescent shape plaque verso includes copyright information for a number of countries.
