Vintage engagement ring circa 1920. Art deco evil eye very rare hard to find ring ,yellow diamond in center measures .50 carats surrounded by ten .10 white diamonds,with sapphire accents, all set in 18k white gold. All stones have been tested all stones are Diamonds and sapphires are also authentic.
Art Deco jewelry With the “Roaring 20’s” in full swing, the era of decadence and post war celebration was clearly apparent in the jewelry of the time. Women attained the right to vote and the right to be tastefully vulgar in adorning themselves with copious amounts of jewelry; especially diamonds and pearls. Spanning two decades, the era is broken up into two sections; early Art Deco and Late Art Deco. Early Art Deco pieces are recognizable by their floral motifs, platinum filigree work and detailed engraving. Late Art Deco pieces are often linear and geometric in design. Late Art Deco jewelry was often die-cast in 18-karat white gold and commonly featuring colored accent stones.
