Curlee Raven Holton (American, b.1951). "Jazzman". Color relief with watercolor. 2004. Signed and numbered in pencil, lower margin. Edition of 40. Light cream wove Rives BFK paper. Full margins. Fine impression. Very good condition. Holton is a printmaker and painter whose work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. He earned his M.F.A. with honors from Kent State University and his B.F.A. (Drawing and Printmaking) from the Cleveland Institute of Fine Arts. His work is in many private and public collections including the Cleveland Museum of Art; the Foundation of Culture Rodolfo Morales in Oaxaca, Mexico; Yale University Art Gallery; Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts; the Library of Congress; Boise Art Museum; Philadelphia Art Museum; U.S. Embassy, Costa Rica; and The National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC.
