This charming lot consists of a framed oil painting on board, done in a German Romantic, modernist style. Image depicts a bow-legged gentleman strolling down a dirt lane, turning to look behind him at a rugged coast line and a faint rainbow. A hand-painted signature is visible at lower left corner, but it is illegible to this author. This framed piece would be a delightful addition to any collection. Framed dimensions approximately 9" x 7.5".

PROVENANCE:
Painting was consigned by David Jordan, nephew of Author Jordan. Author was a registered art dealer in New York City who operated a showroom on Madison Avenue.
