2 Boudoir Cards of Tesuque Pueblo, New Mexico, the first by Dana B Chase 1886 c., showing the east side, plaza and hornos, while the Kaadt view shows a woman climbing down a ladder of her two story house while three others look on from the roof showing adobe walls, houses and buildings. Tesuque Pueblo, located 8 miles from the Plaza in Santa Fe with their land abutting the Santa Fe Opera, is one of the 8 Northern Pueblos.

Dana B. Chase (b 1848 d. 1897) Born in Maine in 1848, he operated studios in Trinidad, CO. and other Colorado locations from 1873 well into the 1880s, but primarily in Trinidad. In 1884 he took over the Santa Fe plaza studio of William Henry Brown using the services of two "operators" W.L. Fetter and E.B Headley. Twice married, he divorced his first wife Ella, with whom he had four children, in 1888. He married his second wife Belle in Santa Fe in 1888 and divorced her in 1897. He sold his Santa Fe gallery to photographer Thomas J. Curran in 1892. He died in 1897. He also worked out of Trinidad, Colorado and advertised that he had the largest selection of burro photographs in the country.

Christian G. Kaadt (b. March 1868 d. May 10, 1905 Santa Fe). Danish immigrant, learned photography in Clinton, Iowa in 1885. He opened a studio in Santa Fe in 1893 where he had an extensive curio and wholesale view card business, including prints on grey mounts for Gold's Curio store. He published other photographers' work under his name including images by John K. Hillers, Dana B. Chase. . Ref: Richard Rudisill, Photographers of the New Mexico Territory, 1854-1912.
