The image depicts a typical small town in America during the Christmas holidays. Norman Rockwell (American, 1894-1978) enjoyed commercial success from the onset of his illustrious career. In the United States, the works of Norman Rockwell have a broad appeal due to their sentimental reflection of our nation's early culture.
