Well-detailed oil painting on board of two standing peasant women in the foreground and two kneeling peasant women in the background. Back of canvas is marked "Maison Alph Giroux Paris 43 B'des Capucines." Housed in nice quality carved and gilt decorated French Impressionist style frame with inset beveled mat. Painting measures 13 by 10.25 inches, frame measures 19.75 by 17 inches.
