Description
Brewster and Ingraham Steeple Clock, Bristol, Connecticut, mid-19th century, with a rosewood veneer case, 8-day brass time and repeating (rack and snail) strike movement and an iron backplate housing the mainsprings, original glasses and dial, repainted hands, original label is mostly complete with several over-pasted labels, chip at the top right under the plinth block and at the top rear, runs a short time before stopping, strike sluggish, 19 x 12 x 4 inches.
