Description
A very large Georgian period sterling and silverplated hot water urn. The large basin is composed of sterling silver, most or all other elements are silverplated, including the feet, stand, legs, rings, and bands.
Hallmarks to the shield design above the spout: [Georgian duty mark] / [Lion passant] / "I" in shield date mark / "TH" in oval. No city mark is present. Possibly attributable to Thomas Hayter, London, circa 1805.
Measures 19 1/2" x 11" x 9".

Condition
No water heater is present. The spout is broken and detached. Some dents and dings. Significant tarnish across the piece. The lid will fit, but is a bit difficult to get in place.
