"Lot Passed"
I was very interested in this auction as there was a large quantity of taxidermy in my local area. I had my eyes set on a Fallow Deer of which there were two. One with a much larger rack then the other. The smaller of the two came up first online and sold for a reasonable price. I would have paid double that amount for the larger one. However this item was never made available to bid online and was labeled as "lot passed" and never came up again. This also happened to a number of other items. When I politely asked both a woman on the phone (she had called regarding pick up time and payment) She told me no lots had been passed. Meanwhile onLiveauctioneers.com you could still view all items listed as passed. When onsite at the cashiers table I asked a second time. She again told me no lots had passed. When I informed her of the online listing and provided proof she told me I was wrong no lots were passed ask someone else. When I overheard some chit chat from the employees in the other room while picking up my item. It sounded as if what I believe was an employee had made the purchase of the passed lot. Now I cannot confirm that he was an employee. But I can tell you the whole thing smelled more fishy that an outdoor fish market. Would I do business with them again. Yes I would. However I think you would be better off if you could be present at the auction as to avoid a missed opportunity on a "Lot Passed" item.....

Stampler Auctions is bad news
i bought an item for $60 but Stampler insisted the only form of payment it would accept (no credit cards) was a wire that cost me $30 to send. With the wire fee and shipping it cost me more than The purchase price. Will never buy from this auctioneer again.
