Accurate descriptions on quality items by an excellent auction house
The title above pretty much sums up our experience I was able to obtain all the pre purchase photos and information required to understand the purchase. The description and photos were accurate, shipping was excellent and the Auction House was easy to deal with. We hope to purchase again in the future.

Disappointing... worst online auction transaction ever!
“You won this lot!” Won it. Paid for it. Paid for shipping. Never received it. Called twice to get an invoice. Called twice to get a shipping estimate. No receipts. No tracking information. On December 30, 38 days after I “won,” I called to get a tracking number-after four (4) phone calls on that day, someone from theArtAntiques.com@ Manhattan Art and Antiques Center finally condescended to tell me that there was no tracking number because what I “won” was still in their showroom-the item that I had “won” and paid for, had never been shipped. This auction house lacks a basic understanding of the sales cycle and of customer service. I did get an apology but no real explanation for the incompetence, and I did get a refund-which was sent and received promptly. Disappointing experience for this customer. Buyer beware. Read all the reviews for every auction house before you bid.

The day you called your item was being picked up by FedEx. You were not happy with that, you were angry it took longer than you expected. I apologized but you were inconsolable. You didn't want an explanation (during Covid in NY). I offered a refund, which I was under no obligation to do. You got a check in a day or two. Then you leave a review like this. Let the buyer indeed be aware.

Excellent Customer Service
I enjoyed my brief time on the phone with the nice lady who took my payment information. The auction house has great items and very well priced. I'm very happy with the vase. I still can't believe what a great bid I won, and again, the customer service was excellent. I am going to bid on something else soon, just so I can speak to that nice lady again!

New Auction Option in Manhattan
The Manhattan Art & Antiques Center has conducted several auctions now, anchored by unreserved consignments drawn from nearby apartments in the tony Upper East Side. (e. g. a bona fide Rothschild) There has been a mixture of both very high prices and amazing bargains. I've spoken with both happy buyers & happy consignors. Some of the buyers at the auctions have wandered into my gallery in the antiques center and found other items to take home. It's a nice environment for an auction; while waiting for your particular lots to come up, you can see good things for direct sale, in 50 + astonishingly diverse galleries.

Yes, they exposed a copy and told me it's bronze..... I'm really angry, it's a scam. Nevermore.....

If we sold you something as bronze and it wasn't we would have returned your money to you. We stand by the items we sell. I think you are trying to bring down a new auction house.

I paid for the goods and the money came back to me. I asked colleagues in Oregon to pay with another SWIFT code and the same. Until now, I have not been paid and therefore I can not pick up the goods with a courier. I do not get it.... Peter
