Fine Russian silver cloisonné St. Petersburg Icon triptych, formerly the property of the Czar of Russia. The open arched center reveals a painting of the Resurrection of Christ with a Guardian Angel and two frightened guardsmen in attendance. This painting bears the artist signature Ñ no in gold. The flanking wing doors each display the full figure of a Guardian Angel. The gold wash silver is impressed with the St. Petersburg symbol and 88 standards, the Cyrillic name for G.
