Printed in Switzerland by Albert Skira in 1950.
Consists of: Eighteen (18) plates including the cover, with tipped-in full-color illustrations depicting different unique art pottery by Pablo Picasso. Frontispiece portrait of Picasso in Vallauris with his pottery. Foreward by Suzanne & Georges Ramie.
Pages are loose (portfolio style), as issued, in a stiff color lithograph folder.
SIZE - 15" x 11" (38 cm x 28 cm).
PROVENANCE: New York City collector.
NOTES / REFERENCES: Picasso lived in Vallauris, with Francoise Gilot and their two children, from 1948 to 1955. It was also where he met the authors of this work and the site of almost all his ceramic production.
