Description
A Pennsylvania Chippendale Faux Grain Painted Two-Part Corner Cupboard, Late 18th Century. The upper section with a heavy stepped molded cornice above a blind fret carved frieze over a nine-light glazed door, enclosing two shaped undulating shelves with plate grooves, flanked by molded canted stiles, above a conforming case with waist molding and a double raised panel cupboard door below, ending with substantial spurred ogee bracket feet.
Dimensions: Height 78 1/2in; width 48 1/2in; depth 24 1/2in; corner 30 1/2in.

Condition
Structurally sound. Retaining its original grungy, dry paint decorated surface. Hardware is later replaced. General marks, wear, nicks, abrasions and surface scratches to the case.
