Description
A Group of Four Copper Powder Flasks, 19th Century. Comprising two American military powder flasks, each with the body embossed with the US armory eagle and shield, two clasped hands within a sunburst and stars, marked 'US' to the center. The top of one flask is marked near spout '1837 / N.P. Ames'. Martial inspector marked 'WS'; an English powder flask decorated with dead game, embossed 'James Dixon & Sons' to the body and stamped 'James Dixon / & Sons / Sheffield' to the top near spout; and a similar small flask with embossed sporting dogs and pheasants to either side. Dimensions: Lengths range from 6 1/2 to 9 1/4in.

Condition
Each with typical wear, toning, rubbing, discoloration and minor verdigris to the patination. Minor dings and dents. We cannot guarantee the functionality of each powder flask.
