Depicting the two Hindu deities in their traditional costumes, highlighted with gold pigments. Intricate Persian designs on the surround.

PROVENANCE: Originally framed at "Probsthain & Co. / Oriental Booksellers, 41 Great Russell Street, British Museum, London W.C". San Francisco collector.

CONDITION: Painting in overall good condition with a very tiny loss upper right edge. Ornate painted border with several tiny losses. Mount with light foxing. Labels mounted separately (but from the original frame which is no longer present). Please see photos.
