USA Medal 1757 Treaty of Easton NGC MS-63 BN


NGC# 6843975-001 Julian IP-49 Betts 401 A much sought after early British Treaty medal struck by Duffield in the USA. This piece has the two indicators (#1. tooling mark on 2nd I in George II and #2 a die break at 9:00 O'Clock running across the medal to the A in Gratia). This piece has a later die break running perpendicular from the cheek to edge at 6:00 O'Clock. This is the first time the writer has seen the second die break so the die could not have lasted much longer. This is a rare piece.
