Description
Cruciform hilt in the Renaissance Revival spirit of the second half of the 18th century. Brass hilt with palmette guard terminals. Basket weave pattern grip with reeded sides inset with a heraldic shield. 17th century rapier blade, 29 ¾” length, probably an heirloom blade reused as was the custom. Do not bid for delivery in NV, NY, NJ, CA, HI, WA state or any foreign address.
