Description
George Nelson & Associates Steering Wheel wall clock, model 4756, American, Michigan, 1950s. Manufactured by Howard Miller. Brass center, black enameled steel, vinyl, enameled aluminum. Paper label on back model ST406A, BG. Synchron movement. Approximately 11.75 inches diameter, sets 3 inches from wall.
Condition
The clock is in working order. Second hand is slightly bent with minor paint loss. Minute hand is slightly bent. Some oxidation and accretions on brass center. The back panel may have been replaced. The white vinyl is scraped, with accretions at left front. Glue and accretions are present where each of the four 4 rods extend out of the center and meet the outer wheel, which may have been replaced, at rear. One chip on the outer wheel at lower right.
