A selection of assorted silver flatware, mainly spoons, comprising a cased set of six teaspoons, with shell terminal, hallmarked James Deakin & Sons (John & William F Deakin), Sheffield 1905, with a mismatched pair of unmarked sugar tongs, a cased spoon and fork, hallmarked A T & Co, Birmingham 1946 and 1947, plus five Albany Pattern teaspoons, hallmarked Robert Stebbings, London 1905, 1906, 1908 and 1909, eight Fiddle Pattern teaspoons with monogram engraving, seven hallmarked John James Whiting, London 1838 and one H L, London 1833, an Old English Pattern dessert spoon, hallmarked William Bateman II, London 1833, and Fiddle Pattern ladle with crest engraving, hallmarked William Bateman II, London 1836, plus a hallmarked pair of tongs and three coffee and teaspoons. Overall weight excluding unmarked tongs 18.3ozt (572.3g).
Condition Report:- Items show varied degrees of surfaces scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing, but are generally in fair condition.
- Push lock to cased set of six spoons is not functioning,
- One clasp to case containing fork and spoon is working. Both clasps are very rusty and show verdagris.
- Hallmarks are generally clear and legible.
- Edges to Fiddle Pattern spoons show nicks and dints.
- Interior bowls display deeper scratches and marks.
