A Very Rare George Pull Palissy Holy Water Stoup c;1850 Only known example. Designed as two female winged angels in cobalt blue gowns but supporting a bowl all under a Gothic style crucifix. Although no record can be found of an identical 16th Century e c;1850 Only known example. Designed as two female winged angels in cobalt blue gowns but supporting a bowl all under a Gothic style crucifix. Although no record can be found of an identical 16th Century example of this piece, it was probably copied by George Pull directly from a Palissy original.
