Barrett Street Auction Center is housed in an enclosed; climate controlled 10,000 square foot building with additional two large outside tents. The Auction Center boasts 300+ formal seating, a revolving stage, a high definition camera system with 6 large flat screen televisions and a surround sound system, so no matter where you are seated, you are in the “front row”. Barrett Street conducts monthly auctions that are open to the public and are all cataloged and contain over 1,000 lots, auctioned in numerical order. The Auction Center is open to the public the day before the Auction for Preview from 8am – 6pm. Barrett Street has 8 professional auctioneers with over 150 years of combined bid calling auction experience. Our auctioneers average 100 lots per hour with all lots videotaped to ensure accountability. If feasible, Barrett Street Auction Center can conduct an on-site personal property auction at your estate including auctioning the real property (home) if you desire. As an Accredited Auctioneer for Real Estate (AARE), when you contact us for potential real estate auctions, all of our proposals are written and include: the Marketing Plan, Projected Budget, Comparable Sales, and Auction Calendar. To properly advertise and conduct the real estate auction the Auction Calendar assists in completing deadlines and marketing objectives including contract signing, online advertisement, flyer mailouts, and onsite open houses as well as the closing date. From the date of your decision and contract signing to the date of the auction is 30 days. All closings are typically within 30 days of the auction. Within our normal estate auctions, on preannounced hours we host an online auction open to bidders worldwide for specialized items including: firearms, coins, gold, estate jewelry, sterling silver flatware, and farm and construction equipment to name a few.
