A civilized auction house
Very good civilized communication from payment to release of lot-except maybe acknowledging payment onliveauctioneers.com, but this is not that important.

Great service at Grogan and Company
Item was accurately described and pictures were very good. Communication with Grogan and Company was also good and helpful. Grogan lists several shippers, but I noticed that these are asking very different rates for shipping. New England Pack and Ship had a reasonable shipping rate and was very helpful. HUGE BUYERS PREMIUM-PLUS ONLINE FEE-PLUS SHIPPING
First the rug looked great in the photo but it has MOTH HOLES that were not mentioned. PLUS I had to pay a huge 'BUYERS PREMIUM' of $625.00 on a $2, 500 rug Plus $125 "online fee" Plus $189 shipping so the rug cost almost ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS MORE THAN THE BID! Almost $3, 500! I expect Grogan to say that they inform people of ALL these extra fees but honestly I did not know. Please make sure you know about ALL the add on costs and if you're buying a rug ask about MOTH DAMAGE. When they say a rug sold for $2, 500 it really cost a LOT more than that. I learned the hard way as I was new and naive.
